Erastus began with the artisans commissioned to create a monument to the fallen Warden Liriel Larenthanil completing it. The artisans outdid themselves and created an artistic masterpiece, which Galendil acknowledged at a small memorial held for his fallen friend and comrade in arms. Word of the perfection of the monument quickly spread far and wide. Lieriel set the standards for the Wardens of Treeholme to follow and uphold. The month also saw Treeholme’s first farm begin production. Trade also continued to expand, much to Nym Nyamtharsar satisfaction, with the opening of Shadowmoons Fineries, a fine jewelry shop.
Arodus saw a tannery start up production on the edge of town. This shop will take advantage of the recently opened farms and the bounty of the forest. More farmland was again claimed to support Treeholme’s growing population.
During Rova, the Wardens expanded their patrols into a section of nearby forest. A general smithy called the Hammer and Anvil, which is run by Andrew Barish also opened it’s doors this month. His is a general purpose smithy. Flowers bloomed early all over the city. Many took this as a sign of good fortune.
Lamashan saw the people unhappy with the way things were going. A Shrine to the Seldarine was erected and blessed by the High Priestess Talaedra Amarallis. The people were much relieved and happy now that they have somewhere to go to pray and meditate. More farmland came under Treeholme’s control again this month.
An elf named Andaerean opened a weaponsmithy called Andaereans Fine Blades during the month of Neth. This shop specializes in fine elven weaponry. A farm was established on some newly acquired land while a fishery began harvesting along the Skunk River forest, now secured by the Wardens of Treeholme. The farms had a record harvest this month and there was an abundance of food.
With Treeholme’s economy stabilized and doing well, and other city states encroaching on the forest, Galendil decided it was time to act. A vast section of the forest was to be reclaimed in one mighty swoop. With the help of the Wardens of Treeholme, he extended the border north and east all the way to Eriliven. Another park was set aside for the populace to enjoy at their leisure.
It was noted by some that when Galendil was not sitting in judgement or helping the Wardens, that he spent a lot of his free time in Bellis. He was frequently seen in the company of the beautiful elf maiden Jastra Erladden. She moved to Treeholme during Neth where she hopes to return to teaching when a school can be constructed. Galendil continues to spend a lot of his limited free time with her.
